The Hard/Soft Estimator is a pivotal role in winning new and retaining existing strategic clients.

You will provide pricing expertise to the solutions team and develop market leading solutions and cost modelling for both single service and total facilities management (TFM) strategic bids.

This role attracts an annual salary of up to £55,000 dependent on experience plus a £5100 per annum car allowance

This role is home based with regular UK wide travel

Responsibilities will include:

Leading the solution design and cost modelling under the direction of the bid lead

Reviewing client requirements, tender packs and data sets to labour load new and innovative solutions

Managing relationships with third party suppliers for services that OCS cannot self-deliver

Undertaking site visits and surveys to validate information and identify innovation

Modelling comprehensive funds when required

Completing the solution approach element to sign off packs identifying all risks and mitigations

Compiling overarching caveats to be included in bid submissions

Owning the bid solution in presentations

Liaising with the financial analyst to ensure cost models are completed correctly

Producing savings glidepaths that enhance our bid offering

Remaining up to date in the latest trends and innovation within the Hard/Soft FM Industry

Experience required/Personal attributes

Proven track record of Solutioning TFM and Hard/Soft FM contracts worth >£5m per annum

Familiar with cost models and internal P&Ls

Good understanding of operational processes and challenges together with demonstrable experience in creating solutions.

Ability to communicate at all levels both internally and externally, with a professional approach at all times.

Ability to hold strategic conversations at senior management level with clients
