We are currently recruiting for an Account Manager who will lead a large team and take responsibility for the operational delivery and financial aspect of the contract.  The contract is 66 sites based in and around the East London and Bedford area, so being able to travel is essential to the role. 

You will monitor and report on the quality and financial performance of the services within the scope of the contract, to include innovation in service delivery and aim to continuously improve the service delivery to the client

Business development, retention, and championing new and up to date initiatives are key to success in this role.

Ideally you’ll have worked in a healthcare setting previously and understand running a large soft services contract.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Provide strong leadership for your direct reports (4), who lead a large, diverse team of frontline staff
  • Provide reports for our client representative and OCS management teams on all aspects of service delivery
  • Maintain and monitor agreed quality systems, ensuring preventative and remedial actions are taken where necessary
  • By daily personal inspection, ensure that the scope of contract is being correctly delivered and that service standards are maintained and improved, taking remedial action where necessary
  • Ensure that the work schedules are regularly reviewed to ensure best value for money and efficient delivery of services to our client requirements
  • Monitor and report on financial performance & quality of service delivery
  • Monitor customer feedback and respond to customer comments
  • Monitor staffing levels to ensure adequate cover whilst maximising profitability
  • Take responsibility for cost control of all services and promote methods to maximise profitability & reduce costs without compromising Health & Safety, service or quality
  • Evaluate all proposals for project works or capital expenditure and make informed recommendations to management ensuring industry best practise is applied and value for money has been incorporated within the recommendation

 What you’ll need…

  • Proven experience in a Healthcare Catering and Cleaning/Hotel Services environment
  • Ability to interpret contract documentation
  • Demonstrable track record of excellent client relationship management and customer facing/partnering skills
  • IT Literate, MS Office/competent in the use of Excel, Power point
  • Full driving licence
