We are looking for an Executive Head Chef who will take responsibility for effectively managing the catering contract within budgetary constraints, whilst maximising profitable sales by the introduction and maintenance of food service brands. The role attracts a salary of £55,000 per annum plus benefits Responsibilities will include: Deliver a consistent level of service in line with KPI’s and contract specification Ensure all costs and expenditure are within the budgeted levels by effectively managing all costs such as labour, expenses, cash purchases as agreed with your line manager Take responsibility for the preparation and completion of menu planning, ordering and accurate stock control. Assist with disciplinary and grievance issues consistently, fairly and in line with company policy Carry out on the job training in such areas as Food Safety, Health & Safety, Unit evacuation policy, dangerous equipment and basic food hygiene. Take responsibility for the unit in the absence of the Facilities Manager Initiate a process of continuous improvement by undertaking company promotions and extraordinary merchandising initiatives to ensure the profitable growth of the contract. Talk and engage with customers and clients to gain insights and gather feedback which will drive improvements.
Experience and Qualifications required: 706/1/2 or equivalent HND Membership of HCIMA desirable Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate Practical experience in a quality establishment Management experience within catering environment gained in contract catering People management skills What will you get in return?
