We have an opportunity for an experienced Catering Manager to effectively manage the Catering function within budgetary constraints, whilst continuously developing and improving food quality and hygiene standards


Responsibilities will include:

• To have knowledge of changes in legislation

• To meet the client and company expectations

• To recruit, train, develop and motivate staff

• To ensure that adequate products, equipment, and materials are properly stored, used, maintained and controlled

• To continuously develop and improve food quality and hygiene standards

• Day to Day Craft Responsibilities for all services.

• Maintain all records in line with legislation and company policy

• Deal with disciplinary and grievance issues consistently, fairly and in line with company policy

Qualifications and Experience required:

HND Membership of HCIMA desirable,

Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate

 Level 3 Craftskills or similar (such as City & Guilds 706)

Practical experience of high-quality service delivery

Management experience within Contract catering

Must be a good chef with flair and imagination

Must have a firm grasp of cost control
