Pylon Painters to work on National Grid contracts.

Main Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ensure Health and Safety procedures are complied with at all times.
  • Painting electricity pylons to a high standard ensuring the agreed specification is met.
  • Complete weekly vehicle and kit inspections for own equipment
  • Complete daily reports to Site Managers on the progress of works.


To succeed in this role you will need:

  • A safety excellent approach to working. (safety is critical for this role)and you ideally would have worked in a safety critical environment before.
  • Experience of working at height (preferred)
  • Basic Electrical Safety Certificate or experience in working in utility environment (Preferred)
  • Tower painting experience would be an advantage
  • All terrain vehicle driving experience would be an advantage


We are looking for both experienced and ‘new to the industry’ people and will provide all training and mentoring to be able to complete this work.

The work is project driven and will require an element of staying away from home depending on project(s) location. The work is paid on a piece work basis and depending on production levels can be very rewarding.

There is also a bonus scheme in place to reward, safe, high production levels.   This is an exiting opportunity to work for an expanding part of the business.
