Chef required to complete daily duties of hot food, chef specials & snack items for evening service Monday to Wednesday. Then Produce & cook breakfast for the site on Saturday & Sunday Mornings for our prestigious Dairy site in the Heart of Shropshire.

You will:

  • Check food for taste, appearance and quality before serving.
  • Ensure Health & Safety, food safety and hygiene regualtions are complied with.
  • Receive deliveries to the unit maintaining relevant paperwork
  • Monitor the amount of food produced, sold and wasted.
  • Ensure the kitchen and service areas are clean, tidy and well presented.
  • Deal with customers in a professional manner

To succeed in this role you will need:

  • Experience of preparing and cooking food in a busy kitchen
  • Level 2  Catering qualifications and/or training within the industry
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
  • The ability to deliver a range of dishes including main course and desserts
  • Good customer service skills
