We are looking for a Building Maintenance Technician for a key contract in central London, you will be required to carry out general maintenance and statutory compliance checks the ideal person will be electrically qualified and have Plumbing and fabric maintenance skills working in a similar environment is desirable.

Main Duties:

  • To plan, inspect and carry out repairs or preventative maintenance as required and to respond to breakdowns in a timely fashion.
  • Duties include statutory inspection of assets from Emergency Lighting, Water Temperature checks, Fire Door inspection and repairs, Plumbing repairs, Lighting checks and other minor reactive works.
  • Be an ambassador for the customer; dealing professionally with complaints and queries
  • Supervising engineer sub-contractors upon attending site.
  • Minor building fabric repairs
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with agreed specifications and in line with Health & Safety legislation.
  • Upkeep of site documentation

To be successful in the role, you will need:

  • Ability to record work accurately on work sheets and computer-based systems
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Must hold a full UK drivers’ licence as use of company vehicle may be required 
  • Understanding of planned preventative maintenance regimes
