We are looking for a Head Chef to join our team based in a premium office location in Dartford.

We cater for all our client needs from coffee bar and breakfast, meeting hospitality and full lunches.

This is a Monday to Friday role with weekends and public holidays off. 

As Head Chef you’ll be responsible for the food culture within the business, bringing your passion for food to our customers every day. Working closely with the Floor Manager and Account Manager to drive the business forward with your own menu’s & dishes. You will be a natural leader who is able to nurture their team to create a supportive and inclusive environment for them to develop in.

You’ll need excellent business acumen to manage the kitchen, keeping on top of stock control, GP’s and labour to deliver on our strategic action plan, whilst keeping the team and our customers engaged with our exciting food offer.

The position attracts an annual salary of up to £60,000 per annum dependent on experience

 

Main Duties:

 

To create daily menus that wow our customers, keep up with current food trends and look after our customers wellbeing and nutrition

To lead, motivate & inspire the team

Ensure the kitchen operates at our high, company and legal standards

Ensure all allergy and nutrition data is compliant

Food preparation, ordering, full stock management.

Driving the food safety in the kitchen to ensure compliance training and documentation is fulfilled

Food development – driving the food culture of your site

Development of the team through support & coaching

Engaging with customers

 

We are looking for someone who has:

 

Experience as a Head Chef with a proven track record

Significant kitchen management experience in a similar role

Experience of managing the preparation & cooking of fresh food in a fast-paced environment

Previous experience developing the skills of a team
