To ensure that a quality service is provided to the client within an agreed budgetary guideline.  To maintain a high standard of cleaning to all office areas of Credit Suisse.

This position provides a unique opportunity to be one of the key players at the centre of a dedicated and established team of staff providing crucial support services for this blue chip client. The individual will need to be a well-presented customer focused operative with a “concierge” approach to the client’s business users, emphasising communication and quality as part of their role.

Main Duties:  

  • Responsible for the cleaning of all kitchen space, ensuring that the areas are kept to the client’s high standards.  
  • Responsible for the cleaning of all office space and meetings rooms, ensuring that the areas are kept to the client’s high standards.  
  • Responsible for the cleaning standards of all toilet and shower space, ensuring that the areas are kept to the client’s high standards.  
  • Responsible for the waste removal and ensure that the bin areas are kept to the client’s high standards.
  • Responsible for signing the toilet check list in each area
  • Ensuring tasks and ticket works are completed to the correct standard within the agree timescale.
  • Respond immediately to any customer complaints as they occur.
  • All staff to check carpet stains as they walk around the building and report to line team leader.
  • Ensure that you arrive and leave on time for work sign in, and be ready for the staff briefings, you do not abuse any breaks, are in the correct uniform, have appropriate footwear and that their general appearance is of a satisfactory nature.
  • Ensuring back to work interviews are carried out with your supervisor when you return to work from an absence.
  • Ensure that you attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Ensure that waste removal is adhered to the site waste streams.
  • Ensure you follow and understand The OCS colour coding system.
  • Ensure that you are using the correct cleaning product and equipment for a specific task and that you use warning notices where applicable.
  • Ensure you adhere to all the Health & Safety regulations at all times.
  • Ensure that any maintenance issues are reported immediately to your supervisor / Manager.
  • Observe and follow the OCS site rules (copy provided for you to sign) and the Credit Suisse site rules and regulations at all times.
  • Ensure you leave any equipment used in a good clean state of order.
  • Ensure you leave your storerooms in a good clean state of order.
  • To work alongside staff when there is a shortage in any other department and carry out any ad-hoc duties as requested


Experience / Desired & Essential Qualifications

This position would suit a hard-working team player, who takes pride in their work and appearance, capable of showing initiative and is able to think on their feet. Would suit working in a dynamic, creative, and highly energised environment. With an eye for detail and prepared on occasion to do extra hours at short notice, happy to work outside the cleaning role on occasion as the client requests with a can-do attitude. A customer focused individual who can balance work activities with a customer facing smile.
