You’ll be working within a busy team, ensuring the effective management of waste on a major client site which is a 15 minute drive from Newcastle Town Centre.

The contracted hours for this vacancy are 48 hours per week working a Monday to Sunday 4 on, 4 off shift (2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off). The pay rate is currently £10.95 per hour with a pay review pending.

 About the role:

You will process and dispose of waste ensuring all safety and security procedures are complied with.

This will include:

  • Collection of large loads and stillages.
  • Disposal of waste in designated skips.
  • Ensure safe working practices and Company procedures are complied with at all times.
  • Ensure an excellent service is constantly delivered.

 About you:

To succeed in the role you will:

  • Be trained and licensed to use Counter Balance Fork Lift Truck.
  • Be experienced in a warehouse/waste disposal environment.
  • Be happy to work in outside.
  • Hold a current driving licence.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Have the ability to work well within a team.
