This is not your average Security job and every day within the events industry brings something new.

Our teams support world-renowned venues during event build-ups, live show days, breakdowns and much more ensuring a smooth and safe operation of all services.

Every day will involve supporting visitors and customers at prestigious venues in Tadcaster. As a member of the security team – you will be the face for the OCS and will have the opportunity to work on high profile, exciting and televised events. There will be progression opportunities into team leader positions, permanent security roles and management positions.

As a casual security office, you will have the opportunity to work at any of our venues. We have a varied amount of shifts available which can include day shifts, night shifts, evening work and weekends. As a casual security officer, you have the freedom to let us know your availability so work can be decided around your circumstances.

Main Duties:

To create a positive visitor experience for OCS clients across various events venues in Tadcaster.  Acts as a customer service ambassador for the Client providing advice, information and assistance to our visitors.

To ensure Health and Safety regulations are complied with by checking that emergency exits are maintained and are not blocked.

Key role in the implementation of Emergency Procedures.

Provides a security presence to prevent and detect crime

Ensures that those presents are authorised to have access to or be within restricted areas

Responds to all security incidents as required, keeping the control room informed and escalating where necessary

May be required to escort unauthorised persons from the hall or be involved with the ejection of persons if required

To search and screen visitors arriving through main entrances of a venue including the use of physical searching, security arches and wanding.

To be successful in the role, you will need:

Excellent communication skills

SIA License Door Supervisor – essential 

Previous experience in security roles – essential

Previous experience in customer facing roles – essential

A motivated, friendly and engaging individual with a passion for events.
