We are looking to recruit a Facilities & Cleaning Operative to our friendly team, who will carry out cleaning, waste and handy person duties, including maintenance duties such as basic plumbing and building tasks, across the site.

This is a busy role, in a demanding and often varied site. A high standard of physical work is required, and the aptitude to deal with a changing environment in a positive manner is key. The successful applicant will have an ability to liaise with many different people across a vast area, with a desire to create improvements across the cleaning, waste and handyman streams. 

The role will be based in Cwmbran and normal hours of work will be 07.30am – 4.00pm Monday to Thursday and 07.30am – 1.00pm on Fridays. You may be required for emergency response to the Gloucester site.

You will also;

To assist the facilities team to complete general handyman duties both internal and external

To carry out cleaning duties across site in various areas including offices, warehouse, kitchens, and WC where required

To carry out FLT and driving duties when required

To carry out external work like litter picking and portering duties

To be succeed in this role you will need:

Full UK Driving licence

Fork Lift Truck licence

Ability to follow policy and procedures

Willingness to bring concerns to corporate attention via prescribed channels
