We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team working at Washington Galleries shopping centre.

Managing a team of on-site engineers and subcontractors across the site, your role is to ensure the contract remains legally compliant and that all maintenance tasks are completed within SLA, utilising internal and external resources. This will include overseeing all the minor works projects that take place on site ensuring that OCS safe system of works are followed.

Responsibilities will include:

Managing a team of engineers and carrying out quality control checks on their work to ensure high standards are maintained - developing plans for improvement where necessary

Effectively managing minor works projects ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget

Continuously developing and improving quality and safety standards on all sites and in the maintenance team

Actively keeping up to date with changes in legislation and implementing them to ensure that the contracts remain legally compliant.

Ensuring that adequate products, equipment, and materials are available to the contract and that all projects provide best value for money

Ensuring that products, equipment, and materials are properly stored, used, maintained, and controlled and purchased in accordance with OCS procedures.

Working closely with the contract manager to identify opportunities for growth within the contract


Experience and Qualifications required:

Level 2 craft qualification would be desirable

IOSH Managing Safely,

IT literate – proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Project management experience would be advantageous

Experience of using CAFM system would be desirable however full training will be provided
