We are looking for an Assistant Yardman to support the coordination of service delivery at Hucknall Depot and to support the OCS yardman and Management team in the provision of services.

Work duties to include, PPE Inspections, stock control, delivery of stock to site, long distance driving, administrative duties ensuring all inspections are kept up to date etc

The working hours for this role are flexible.

Main Duties:

  • To provide support and assistance to the Yard man and Management team where required
  • To meet, check and sign for deliveries
  • To support and assist the Yard man and Management team with legal requirements such as health and safety requirements PPE Inspections
  • Assist yard man in collation of operational data required for SHEQ Reports
  • Inspect all PPE and equipment in line with HSE and Legal guidance

To be successful in the role, you will need:

  • Desired – PFPE Inspectors course
  • Facilities experience desirable
  • Supervisory experience advantageous
  • Competent and confident with business software, including Excel, Word, Email
