We are looking for Operations Supervisor to ensure the best use of resource across both the Airside Coaching and PRM operation maximising efficiencies and minimising and delays or service failures whilst also being responsible for the effective supervision of all staff on shift, ensuring that work is carried out to customer specification and all deadlines, ECAC, SLA and KPI’s are consistently met. You will communicate in a professional manner with customers, airport authorities, colleagues and to be responsible for supporting and by doing so become a role model for the team and an Ambassador for the company, living the OCS values of care, safety, trustworthy and expert.

Main Duties:

  • Supervise operational staff on shift to deliver a service consistent with customer specifications, taking remedial action if necessary.
  • To allocate resources to ensure best endeavours to maintain SLA and ECAC.
  • Ensure that communication with colleagues is of the highest standard and all updates and necessary information is shared.
  • Ensure that all staff complies with the uniform and PPE policy.
  • Conduct performance appraisals with appropriate employees, identifying potential talent and recommending training and development where appropriate.
  • To lead and organise the movement of staff and vehicles in a timely and safe manner.
  • Building & maintaining relationships with clients, airport authorities and other regulatory bodies.
  • Encourage collaborative working systems for upward communication and ideas and conduct briefing/TBT when necessary
  • To undertake any reasonable tasks as directed by your immediate manager or other company representatives.
  • Drive a Cobus when operationally required.

What you will need:

  • Team Leading/management qualification or willingness to undertake this qualification.
  • Must be able to obtain an airside pass and driving permit
  • Pass a driving medical
  • Previous experience of Airside operations at an airport is strongly desired.
  • Previous customer service experience is essential
  • IT literate
  • Needs to demonstrate some experience at supervisory level.
  • Highly organised with the ability to plan ahead.
  • Self-motivated and reliable with a conscientious approach and excellent attention to detail.
  • Innovative with the ability to think creatively to solve problems.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build networks.
  • Able to work in a team environment and promote team working and safety culture.
