We are looking for a Cluster Manager with a strong Hard Services background to join our team looking after a cluster of sites based in the Bristol area. 

Working with a site based team managing both hard and Soft Services to ensure the cluster remains legally compliant. You have full P&L responsibility for the sites supported by the central team. The key element of this role is stake holder management we all looking for someone that has experience of managing multiple stake holders and someone with experience of the automotive industry would be beneficial but not essential.

As part of the role you will manage the day-to-day operations across the site ensure the expectations of the clients are met whist operating in a safe and productive manner. Using your expertise to drive the contract forward and ensure that they are compliant together with pursuing opportunities for growth.

Main Duties

  • Supervise a team of engineers and cleaners carrying out quality control checks on their work to ensure high standards are maintained and develop a plan for improvement
  • Manage your own diary to ensure your time is spread out across the sites and all targets are met these include compliance and contractual standards
  • Manage the site in line with current regulations and have experience of working with the CDM regulations
  • To comply at all times with client, Company and legal requirements such as health and safety, ensuring the display of notices, first aid and accident reporting, achieving compliance with ISO Standards.
  • To assist the Account Director with contractor and staff monitoring to ensure we achieve optimal performance
  • To control all financial aspects of the contract budget for staff.
  • To ensure that the Contract operates within all current legislation and client policies and that, where appropriate, staff are made aware of their responsibilities in this regard.
  • To ensure that specified and correct standards of services are established and maintained, and that any deficiency is reported and remedied quickly.

What you will need to be successful in the role:

  • HNC or equivalent in an engineering / FM discipline or a proven track record in the building services sector, leading teams on projects up to the value of 30K,
  • IOSH Managing Safely, IT literate – proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • FM qualification to a minimum level 3 standard
  • Management experience across a range of service disciplines, previous budget accountability including management of a team in excess of 10 employees is essential.
