The main purpose of the role is to assist with a range of food and beverage service activities on the wards. You’ll carry out a range of catering duties, ensuring a high-quality service is always provided.

Main Duties:

Assisting with food preparation / probing food for temperature / completing due diligence paperwork

Serving food and drinks on the ward to patients

Replacing / refilling of water jugs

Assist with collection and washing up of cutlery, crockery and trays

Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and ready for the next shift

Ordering stock and filling up

Report broken equipment to supervisor

 

To be successful in the role, you will need:

Food Hygiene Certificate at National Level 1 would be desirable

Experience in catering role

Good customer service skills
