We are looking for a Host Cleaning Operative to be the point of contact between JLR Estates Management/OCS and the building end user ensuring an efficient FM service is provided to JLR, ensuring company policy and procedures are always upheld.

Main Duties:

  • Ensure that areas are always cleaned to the highest standards, conducting service cleans of facilities (toilets, kitchenettes etc) and spot cleans as required.
  • Responsible for ensuring the high-quality presentation in selected zone areas, meeting rooms and office space, providing a safe and secure environment.
  • Manage Kitchen Area - load/unload dishwashers, ensure adequate beverage consumables are available (tea, coffee, milk, sugar etc).
  • Log building and equipment faults via JLR ‘E’ Tracker system and provide information on progress of rectification.  Take ownership of issues to satisfactory conclusion and liaise/manage 3rd party suppliers.
  • Reset furniture to original setting in open plan zone areas and conference rooms.  Cables under desks to be placed back tidy.
  • Desks to be cleared and white boards cleaned after each meeting/end of day.
  • Order and replace toners in printers, arrange collection for empty cartridges through on-site waste collection. Keep printer stocked with paper at all times.
  • Manage Confidential bins through on-site waste collection
  • Manage conference room bookings in Zone areas.  Track non attendees and support moving users on when overstayed meeting room allocation
  • Manage Lost property items .
  • Basic knowledge to resolve desktop, IT and Wi-Fi connectivity.
  • Learn of where other services and facilities are to help people navigate around the site/building.

What you will need to be successful:

  • A good level of education, articulate and numeracy.
  • NVQ Level 1 Cleaning – desirable but not essential
  • Experience in the customer service industry is desirable
  • Proven relevant working experience & knowledge
  • Knowledge and understanding of COSHH and Health and Safety in the workplace
  • Respect confidentiality – some areas of work are within highly confidential departments and require additional levels of security
