We have a vacancy for an Operations Analyst to join our team on a temporary contract for 12 months The main purpose of the job is to collect and analyse data to identify trends which will provide valuable information that can be used to improve sales, operational and business practices. This will include identifying, gathering, and analysing data, and making your insights accessible to the company through easy-to-understand graphs, charts, tables and reports The data you will be analysing may include Health & Safety data, Cleaning Audit data, Compliance data, Customer & Staff Satisfaction data and Finance data You will be homebased with occasional travel required to our Newcastle office (mainly during your initial training period) Main Duties: • Collecting and extracting information from various sources • Determining trends or changes in the data • Organising and transforming information into comprehensible reports • Using data to predict trends in the customer and operational system of works (SOW) • Performing statistical analysis of data • Using tools and techniques to visualise data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs • Preparing reports and presenting these to management or clients • Identifying and recommending new ways to save money by streamlining business processes • Communicating with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements To be successful in the role, you will need: • Understanding of company workflows, company structures, supply chains, trading, and manufacturing processes • Excellent knowledge of databases and programs such as Excel spreadsheets • Ability to turn complex data and trends into visual graphs for presentation • Ability to source raw data through interviews with employees, customers and clients What will you get in return?
