Our client, a specialist oil spill response company are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join the team.  The role is based in Southampton, and you’ll be working Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm.

What you’ll be doing..

  • Working in the maintenance team, carrying out PPMs
  • Attend to reactive calls in line with KPI’s and SLA’s
  • Communicate effectively with the Helpdesk, on site team and client
  • Timely completion of all required paperwork including work record sheets, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Permits to Work and accurate timesheets
  • To ensure the company and client Health and Safety policies are adhered to

What you’ll need…

  • City and Guilds, equivalent in Mechanical fitting, assembly.
  • Mechanical fitter experience a must have, working with, changing hydraulic hoses working on a wide variety of client equipment. 
  • CAA clearance is a requirement of this role so will need to gain this clearance as part of the role.
