As a representative of OCS Security you will ensure that an exceptional level of customer service and manned guarding is provided as per the contract requirements.  You will ensure that all assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner and all relevant legislation is adhered to. The role is carried out in a Shopping Center where you will undergo training to deal with the public and carry out planned tasks.

Main Duties:

  • To provide an exceptional standard of manned guarding at The Galleries Shopping Centre, maintaining excellent customer service at all times and embracing all initiatives to provide improved service.
  • To ensure that all assigned duties as defined within the Assignment Instructions or from your Line Manager or a member of OCS & CBRE Management team are completed and achieved in a timely manner.
  • To protect the security and safety of the premises its staff, customers, tenants and your colleagues as per the contract assignment instructions.
  • To carry out all duties in a safe, honest, ethical and professional manner.
  • To carry out any reasonable requests as identified by your Line Manager/Contract Manager.
  • Assisting the Contract Manager/Security Manager in maintaining adequate staffing, rostering of shifts at least 1 month in advance, assisting levels of inventory and procedural compliance.

To be successful in the role, you will need:

  • A-C GCSE Level - in English & Maths desired but not required
  • SIA Licence is required to carry out this role - SIA support provided for the correct candidate.
  • Guarding experience within the Retail industry desired but not required
  • Experience of manned guarding required
