As the Airside Coach Driver you will ensure the safe transportation and assistance of passengers and flight crew to and from the terminal and aircraft, communicating in a professional manner with customers, airport authorities and colleagues. You will ensure that the OCS safety image is reflected positively through your actions and those of your colleagues and be an Ambassador for the company, living the OCS values of care, safety, trustworthy and expert. You will also ensure all equipment is in good working condition and cleaned on a regular basis in line with the OCS cleaning schedule. Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role: Safe transfer of all passengers and crew to and from the terminal and aircraft whilst adhering to SSOW and ensuring the highest level of customer service Informed and aware of the different immigration channels to make sure arrival passengers are directed to the correct channel Ensure timely transportation of passengers and crew to achieve OTP / KPIs / SLAs Is always approachable and helpful when dealing with customers, observing passengers to identify needs and adjust service accordingly Effective and efficient communication with the Operations Supervisor always Ensure vehicle checks are completed and recorded prior to usage Accurate recording of tasks on paper based and Avtech systems Ensures equipment is checked for safe usage prior to use. Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles both inside and outside and that they are clear of rubbish Ability to multi skill and drive different vehicles Assist with the PRM operation when required Ensure that the OCS safety image is reflected positively through your actions and those of your colleagues. Maintains current, accurate knowledge of SSOW’s and carries out tasks as advised in SSOW Ensure equipment such as cobuses are checked for safe usage prior to utilisation Ensure company equipment is taken care of and logged in and out on the equipment log Actively reports Near Misses and reports any faults and is aware of the Health and Safety Policy Ensures any accidents or injuries are reported to the NSC Always wears correct PPE Observe the speed limits and consider environmental impact when operating vehicles Attends refresher training and any other required training To be successful in the role, you will need: Must be able to obtain an airside pass Previous airport experience is strongly desired Previous customer service experience is essential Previous bus / coach driving is advantageous Excellent customer service and communication skills. Proactive, enthusiastic and a positive approach even when under pressure Self-motivated and reliable with a conscientious approach and excellent attention to detail. Be able to work efficiently and thoroughly as part of a team.
