The Desk Host will efficiently run either the landside or airside desk and be the friendly first point of contact for all passengers requiring assistance as per their requirements.

Main Duties:

  • Ensures excellent customer service is shown to every passenger in every passenger interaction
  • Observes passengers to identify needs and adjusts service accordingly
  • Clearly informs passengers of the process ensuring that if they make their own way they report to the Airside Desk
  • Accurate recording of tasks in the Avtech system
  • Promptly answers the Phone in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Ensure Host Desk is manned at all times and arrange cover when required
  • Informs passengers in an accurate and timely manner regarding changes to flights schedules
  • Ensure all Electric Mobility Aids (EMA) are tagged prior to going airside

To be successful in the role, you will need:

  • Educated to GCSE standard.
  • Must be able to obtain an airside pass.
  • Previous airport experience is strongly desired
  • Previous customer service / reception experience is essential
  • IT literate
