As the Security event manager, you will play key in helping lead the security event management function & coordinate all security related matters at the Resorts World Arena, Utilita Arena & The International Convention Centre (ICC). It will be your job to plan and deliver the overall security strategy for the company and work closely with other security event managers and report to the Security Operations Manager.

We are looking for an individual who is a strong communicator, has great customer service skills and a flexible approach to work.

Main Duties:

  • Complete security event management administration on time and to the correct standard., including forecasts, costings, dot plans, security risk assessments and invoicing.
  • Manage and maintain the relationship with the event management team.
  • Constantly review processes for efficiencies and smarter working.
  • Build relationships with external partners including but not limited to the NEC Group, Local authority, campus tenants and emergency services.
  • Liaise with the client, trade association and other forums to ensure best practice and effective service delivery.
  • Provide management direction for the event team, I.e., standards, culture and performance.
  • Support with the management of the casual workforce, this includes identifying recruitment, liaising with the scheduling department and HR.
  • Communicate regularly with colleagues through formal and informal channels on safety matters to ensure that there is a free flow of ideas, and that morale remains high.


To be successful in the role, you will need:

  • Diploma or certificate in Security Risk Management or 2-year experience equivalent is desirable
  • SIA Door Supervisor
  • SIA CCTV License
  • First Aid qualification
  • IOSH
  • NeBOSH (Desirable)
