As our Food Service assistant, you will work as a team, responsible for the efficient and timely preparation of quality service. You will assist in clearing of meals and beverages for client company employees and guests, always maintaining a high quality of hygiene standards Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role Maintain contract health & safety, and hygiene standards in line with current legislation Ensure that due diligence records are completed and maintained Adhere to company policy on dealing with customer comments To comply with company and client policies and procedures. Ensure that customers always receive a prompt and courteous service. Ensure personal appearance, including uniform, are always of the highest standards in line with company policy. To work in all areas across the site including catering outlets, kitchens and Costa Kiosks as requested by the General Manager and Head chef To ensure that all clients and customers and dealt with promptly and courteously according to company standards. Prepare counter to the standard laid out by the management. Serve all food and beverages at the specified times and in the appropriate quantities. Ensure sound knowledge of the food served daily together with the portion size. Ensure tables, chairs, trolleys, and floors are kept clean and tidy at all times. Assist with the washing up of light equipment. Assist in the preparation of food Clean all areas of food preparation and service using the nominated cleaning schedules Ensure that floor and wall surfaces are kept clean to the prescribed height. Maintain full compliance with ISO9002 & ISO14001 requirement for which you have responsibility To perform any other duty which may be reasonably required by your line manager or the company To be successful in this role, you will need Educated to GCSE level or equivalent Basic food hygiene. A knowledge of health and safety Previous experience in a similar role A good team player. The ability to work using their own initiative Ability to follow policy and procedures Willingness to bring concerns to corporate attention via prescribed channels What will you get in return?
