The MSO Supervisor will be responsible for managing, mentoring, and training all Multi Skilled Operatives within the Post room Reprographics and Porterage teams.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role:

Ensuring all helpdesk room booking requests are allocated to the team within the agreed SLA’s.

Monitor efficiency and proactiveness within the Mail Room, Reprographics and Porterage Teams.

Deliver Health and Safety toolbox talks and training as required, ensuring understanding and adherence to policies and procedures

Maintain all working areas to a high standard of cleanliness and safety and ensure all defects are reported.

Monthly auditing of total jobs raised and room bookings

Monitoring monthly meter readings on the large format printers

Working safely and efficiently in all workplace areas and to be responsible for ensuring all conferencing equipment is in safe working order.

Responsible for managing and updating the departments risk assessment and method statements.

Responsible for logging near misses on the OCS intranet.

To monitor and manage online reporting and annual leave portal.

To monitor and manage staff time and attendance 

Rota planning and management.

Performance management

Conduct Return to Work interviews for staff returning from absences

Cover for Mail room, Repro and Porterage as required to cover any absences/annual leave.

Flexibly, proactively, and professionally responding to any client requirements as and when necessary, promoting excellent customer service.

Supplier liaison (ordering toners, etc.)

Stock checks and ordering (stationery)

MFD maintenance management/audit, team scheduling

What you will need to succeed in this role

Educated to GCSE Level

Reprographics and porterage experience

Team player working upon your own initiative with attention to detail

Excel – proficient

Use of Large-format printers (from A0 to A6), use of laminators
