We are looking for a Facilities Operative to be responsible for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness of Culver Square Shopping Centre by performing various cleaning duties. You will also complete building maintenance and DIY tasks within the shopping centre as and when required.

Main Duties:

  • To perform all cleaning tasks in the shopping centre and public toilets in accordance with training and instructions received.
  • Ensure high standards of professionalism at all times and deliver the right service level to cleaning specifications within a public facing role.
  • Ensure work is carried out to the highest standards of health and safety with regards to yourself and that of others by always following the company procedures.
  • To be flexible and a willing team player to assist with the delivery of other services as required, for example refuse collection, recycling collection, hand sweeping and various area cleaning including the shopping centre.
  • Be prepared to attend and undertake further training as required by the centre management.
  • Non-skilled general fabric maintenance
  • Setting up marketing stalls and gazebos
  • Moving stores and equipment, including manual lifting
  • Weeding
  • Operate a variety of cleaning equipment in accordance with training and instructions received.

To be successful in the role you will need:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Willing to undertake training: PASMA, IPAF, other training courses as they arise
