We are looking for a Security Manager to be responsible for delivering a first-class, proactive and innovative service to achieve customer ‘delight’.

You will provide leadership to line-managed teams offering professional guidance and direction, and developing effective communication strategies whilst establishing and maintaining highly effective customer relationships will require acknowledging differing customer groups who sometimes have competing priorities.

Main Duties:

  • Manage the delivery of Security & FOH services in your specific property to provide consistently high levels of performance that meet contractual obligations to customers and the strategic objectives of the region.
  • Have P & L responsibility for your property of operation and ensure that it is managed within budget, ensuring that maximum revenue and gross margin are achieved.
  • Develop plans for profitable growth, defining key goals and timelines for development.
  • Communicate clearly and positively with staff at all levels to create a focus on business goals and build an environment where all staff is valued for their contribution.
  • Build a network of close partnerships with customers, developing strong account management and encouraging multi-level relationships between all services, team, and customer teams.
  • Ensure high levels of staff motivation and productivity, increasing staff retention.
  • Support the sales function where required.
  • To participate fully in any relevant external bodies and all opportunities for networking that raise the profile of OCS.  Some activities are outside normal office hours.
  • Manage subcontractors and monitor performance against SLAs and KPIs.
  • Liaise with OCS internal and external statutory bodies to ensure compliance with OCS and industry regulations with particular emphasis on ISO quality systems and health & safety.
  • Recruit, develop and if necessary, manage the performance of all onsite operational management to deliver OCS and customer requirements.
  • Motivate staff to deliver high-quality service to customers and ensure all operatives have received the allocated number of MyReviews.
  • Ensure all Elogbook quotes, and tasks are actioned promptly to ensure none become overdue.
  • Complete Safe Site Inspections and Health checks monthly.

What you will need to be successful:

  • Hold appropriate Health and Safety qualification e.g.  IOSH or NEBOSH Certification.
  • Achieved a minimum of BIFM Award, but ideally Certificate of qualification.
  • Knowledge of Security/FOH services and experience in delivery.
  • Hold an SIA/CCTV license and First Aid trained.
  • Senior management experience in Security & FOH service provision.
  • Proven track record of delivering on target P&L, retention, and growth performance.
  • Evidence of “hands-on” operational experience and a track record of successful client relationship management.
